Mall Call - Surusinghe

SURUSINGHE – NOV 28
For Surusinghe, the rave is much more than a night out. A self-described clubgoer first and foremost, the Australian-born, London-based artist is a tireless champion of club culture, working across promoting, labels and management while co-founding Drifting, a platform dedicated to underground music and nurturing the next generation of ravers. That devotion runs through her productions as well: thrillingly unpredictable collisions of bass, techno, breakbeats and reggaeton, combining seismic low-end with strange, playful details and a finely tuned sense of tension. Since her 2022 debut “GOOD GIRLS // BAD GIRLS”, releases including “Brake Fluid” have established her as a distinctive voice in contemporary club music, with records on labels such as AD 93, Steel City Dance Discs and TraTraTrax. Behind the decks, she's equally adventurous, mixing Latin bass, hard drum, dubstep and the progressive trance of her Melbourne roots, moving quickly and unexpectedly between genres. At Mall Call, she brings all those years on the dancefloor to the other side of the decks.
